There's a few things to look at. I really need to get on the ball with my ceramic work. I've really been slacking on the production level. Unloaded a bisque today with two or 3 good pieces vs 2 or 3 pieces i never should have fired haha. Soda firing on Sunday, I hope that goes well. I'm happy to get some pieces into the kiln so I can have work done for crit next week. I can't produce a sculpture for the first project! It's been getting me down! What the heck am I doing? I tried multiple times to produce something to no avail. I'm not too concerned though. I just want to make better work. I think I'm onto something with my sugar and creamer set. I need to stay on that page for more work. I also need to mix oribe for that firing...

I interviewed at campbell pottery today. I was really excited for it and I hope to get the job. I thought i had it in the bag, but I never know with interviews. I've been let down so many times in the past with the idea of a sure thing... It just never is with anything in my life. Everything is so hard. She asked me some funny questions and my favorite/the only one i couldn't answer was, "If you had to furnish a new house with wood furniture, what kind of wood would you choose?" As if I would know... Some contenders for best question of the interview were...
"If you were on bathroom duty, would you be willing to clean up diarrhea?"
Yes, I would most certainly do it! (i would fuckin hate that)
"If a customer asked you to get a pot down from the top shelf and you say certainly, but you get up there only to find a dead bat in the pot, what would you do?"
-weird questions, but i guess it's happened before

So as I'm leaving she asks about Lee Rexrode and my classes and stuff then proceeds to tell me she ahs a few more interviews to get done... I leave somewhat confused and uncertain that I will be getting the job or not. I have my fingers crossed! Wish me luck

Well off to weaving class. Why can't they just cancel night classes tonight? It's getting bad outside, but I love snow storms.
